Manna From Motion
-
The 4 line Iambic spreads through the Blogosphere with increasing, ahh, motion. Tim Blair got in early, and was joined by The Emperor, Acidman, and others. Though surely the nadir of a thousand years of English poetry, Andrew Motion's great contribution may well be the addition of a new form for poetic derision—augmenting, but not replacing, the limerick. We'll see.
CROW NO MORE, Say I
Crow sings so sweet, but hits a sour note
With shirty sequined protest, wholly rote.
Is this commitment, or a certain knack
For whoring for the plaudits of the pack?
