*The Evil of Appeasement
Remember Me
Remember me—and gray tide let to come
To maim us all there on that awful day.
We trusted bigger men to stay it from
Rolling on to sweep our lives away.
To put us there a weapon had to wield,
The rended heart before you tells with tears.
My lifted arm it speaks of more than yield,
It bids depart to all remaining years.
Of millions of you free there are but few
Who own your sway, yet move or stay the hand.
If somewhere then is murdering anew
We beg you their release, from stiller land.
Untrammeled life puts onus on the free.
If ever you should doubt
Remember me.
