Sugar ‘n’ spice ‘n’ everything nice; A dream often pitched to us misters. But it’s one rare delight (no matter how slight) To find sweet and nice in the sisters.
Now, we see the appeal in a mettle of steel; The attraction that bravery carries, But must they engage, in our broadminded age, With the loom of Attila or Aries?
For a bellicose head where no knowledge was spread Is an auto at speed with no driver. Steering clear of some crash from the half-baked and rash Needs good learning; let no one deprive her.
Does the cerebral void in the Congress’ employed Only gape in the brains of the distaff? Or is ignorance vast most often surpassed By a Senator, Rep, and all his staff.
May they stick to the facts in debating their acts, May they find that sound judgment is quiet, That a credible source lends an argument force And well read is well said; may they try it.
